Good morning, I have been taking Belara contraceptive pills for 3 months. I take them according to the 21+7 scheme. The last month of taking began on September 21 ( Wednesday), but I forgot to take one tablet 3 days after the start of the package, i.e. September 24. I took the rest of the pills normally once a day. In the middle of the last week, around October 5 to 8, I observed very scanty brown spotting and pain in the left breast (nipple, which happens to me before the month, but it did not occur). During that month, I had sex regularly, about twice a week. Before this month, in the break of 7 days, I did not have intercourse. I will also add that I have not previously observed in the middle of the cycle such scanty, brown spotting( in the first 2 months of taking the tablets). Is it possible that skipping one pill will affect the effectiveness of contraception? Can spotting, in connection with the omission of one tablet, be a sign of fertilization?
