Can spotting instead of withdrawal bleeding indicate pregnancy or are birth control pills malfunctioning?
I have been using vibin mini contraceptive pills for over 2 years. Each time, the withdrawal bleeding was during the placebo pills and lasted for 4 days. Alternately more abundant in one month and less in the next. Mid-cycle spotting did not occur. On the other hand, with the last placebo tablets, the withdrawal bleeding was as scanty as the spotting and lasted only 2 days. Pregnancy tests were performed on the last day of placebo, in the first and second weeks of the next active pills, all negative. I would like to add that recently I have been a bit stressed, I started exercising regularly and the temperatures in the last month were very high. Could this have affected such spotting? Do I have reasons to be concerned? I have an appointment with the doctor in a month and I am afraid that this will be a reason to change the pills. Thank you in advance for your reply.
