Good morning! Since January 2022, I have been taking the Mincrogynon contraceptive pill. I accept them for the sake of protection and cycle regulation. My time before taking the drug between periods was up to 50 days. The first ovarian ultrasound was done six months after I started taking the drug (in June), while the second one was six months later (in December), and the next one I am scheduled for December this year. Recently, when I was on a breast ultrasound, the radiologist looked at the gynecological ultrasound and asked if I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome. I have two ultrasounds. Done by two other doctors, and none of them found anything. When I told the radiologist about taking DTA, she said that in that case it is normal that I have more follicles on my ovaries. Yesterday I was at my gynecologist and asked about PCOS, but the lady answered that in half a year we will do an ultrasound and we will see, but that for now I have nothing to worry about, because at my age (I am 19 years old) the ovaries are still developing and changing and will rather look different on the next ultrasound. I read that the symptoms of PCOS are oily hair and irregular periods. The cycles have been normalized DTA, but I can wash my hair every other day. I was a little concerned about this and wanted to ask your opinion on this. Thank you very much in advance for your reply, have a nice day.
