Hello. I have been using hormonal contraception for 9 months, more precisely Evra patches. I know very well how hormonal contraception works and what mechanism of action the patches themselves show. I always change the patches on Fridays around 20 and I am very careful about it. Before I started using the patches, I had quite painful menstruation: severe lower abdomen pain, "low back" pain and sore breasts, ovulation also often manifested itself as a slight pain in the lower abdomen, "low back" and stinging of the left or right ovary. After the start of hormone therapy (and the disappearance of all strange symptoms, often appearing during the first 3 months of use), only a slight, episodic pain in the lower abdomen and head occurring before withdrawal bleeding remained. The symptoms of ovulation, of course, also completely subsided. Yesterday, after changing Patch 1 to Patch 2, I felt a slight pain in the lower abdomen and "cross", today, in turn, the whole day I was bothered by the (already forgotten) stinging of the right ovary. After looking at the menstrual calendar, it turned out that I am exactly on the 14th day of the cycle, which would probably mean the day of ovulation (if, of course, not for the action of hormones). Right question: What is the chance that if I use hormonal contraception correctly, I have just ovulated? (a superstitious flavor is the fact that tonight I dreamed of two lines on the pregnancy test ^^)
