Good morning. I am in the process of taking the fourth pack of Microgynon 21. On the fourth day, my mood deteriorated. On Thursday, i.e. 08.08 this year, I was at the gynaecologist's who diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome. I was prescribed the following medications: Spasmoline 60 mg, Debutir Forte 300 mg and Debretin 100 mg. I take Spasmolina 2x1 at 7 and 19 hours, and the other medicines 2x1 at 7 and 17. I take the Microgynon 21 contraceptive pill at 6 p.m. I would also like to add that diarrhea and constipation were not my symptoms, but only pain, cramping, stinging, general weakness. It happens that you pass stool 3-4 times a day, but it does not take a loose form. My question is: can the medications used reduce the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill you are taking, and has it already been reduced? Should I use additional forms of protection in the case of intercourse?
