Good morning, after laser vision correction, the doctor assigned me eye drops containing dexamethasone sodium phosphate. I was supposed to take them for 3 weeks, after a week the intraocular pressure began to increase noticeably (decrease in focus, haze in the other eye) (up to 38) and after consulting this doctor for the last week I had to stop dropping (pressure dropped to 22). Now, after three weeks and the end of taking antibiotic drops, he assigned me another steroid – containing hydrocortisone. I know that it is theoretically weaker, but I still have doubts whether I should take it at all? I also know that I am not a doctor, but the recommendation to continue taking steroids in this case seems to be going for the easy way.
