Inozytol, opinions and questions

Recently (in November) I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome. I take spironol in the morning and metformax in the evening. However, I have not had a period for two months, I heard that inositol can help with this. Can I take inositol without consulting a doctor?
