Good morning. Yesterday I had an appointment with an ENT specialist due to ear pain and yellow leakage with an admixture of blood, who diagnosed me with otitis media, a rupture of the eardrum that resulted in the formation of a hole. He introduced antibiotic therapy. I told him that I was allergic to penicillin, so he prescribed me 2 packs of KLACID 500 MG (28 tablets for 14 days) and CETRAXAL PLUS ear drops – 2 drops in the morning and in the evening (also in an antibiotic). I forgot to tell my doctor that I was taking CONCOR 1.25 mg because I had sinus tachycardia. Can I combine the antibiotic and drops with CONCOR, or do I have to stop taking CONCOR for the duration of the antibiotic treatment? I don't know if I'll get an arrhythmia when I stop taking my CONCOR drug. I've read about the antibiotic KLACID that it can also cause arrhythmias. I'm afraid that KLACID will give me an arrhythmia, and I've been taking it since yesterday. What to do in such a situation? I want to improve the condition of my ear, so I need an antibiotic. I also don't know how long to take CETRAXAL PLUS drops, because the doctor didn't tell me. Or should I apply it to my ear for 14 days until my follow-up appointment, which I have in 13 days – December 20th? I will be grateful for an answer and advice in my case.
