Can I go back to taking Propranolol after a two-week break?

Hello. I have problems with hyperthyroidism. For a year I took propranolol 3 times a day for 10 mg. I haven't taken wgl for two weeks. I felt bad after him. But again, I have an accelerated heart rate, dizziness in my head, pressure in the cage and anxiety. And I wonder if I can go back to it?

Yes, you can go back to taking propranolol. It should also be borne in mind that drugs such as propranolol should not be discontinued suddenly. It is recommended to gradually reduce the doses over a period of 7 to 14 days. Abrupt discontinuation of the drug can cause, m.in, worsening of symptoms, which most likely happened in your case. Returning to treatment should alleviate the symptoms you are currently experiencing. If, after returning to therapy, the drug is poorly tolerated, you should consult a doctor to change the method of treatment.
