Ashwagandha should not be combined with high blood pressure medications.

Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic agent. It has a wide range of effects, m.in. it increases resistance to stress.
However, it can also lower blood pressure. Thus, it may increase the effects of Candepres and Isoptin and cause side effects such as dizziness and drowsiness.
