On the internet I came across various opinions - some write that the combined pills protect from 1 pill if taken in the first 5 days of menstruation. Others write that additional contraception is needed these days. So what is the difference between taking pills for the first time in your life, and what is the difference between taking pills again after a month, two, six months or a year, that these regimens are so radically different? Taking the pill on the 1st day of menstruation protects from the beginning, but the next day it doesn't - I don't get it.
