I would like to ask about reactions to medications. The doctor decided that I was suffering from atypical pneumonia (X-ray clean, increased inflammatory factors in the blood, persistent cough, chest pain, shortness of breath). Prescribed Fromilid 500 2x daily for 14 days and Erdomed 3 days 2x1 to 16:00. Previously, apart from chest pains and shortness of breath, the cough calmed down, the nose was slightly stuck every morning but without a runny nose. After 3 days of treatment (exactly on day 3, the last day of taking Erdomed) cough increased (with a feeling of detachment of secretions but difficult) and a terrible runny nose and stuffy nose with a changed nasal voice. As a result, the general well-being is slightly deteriorated, the doctor warned that after Erdomed may slightly increase coughing in order to cough up and clean the airways. Can a runny nose, curling nose and a changed nasal voice also be the result of rarefied discharge from the sinuses flowing and is this a natural effect of the drug? The runny nose is intense, rather colorless. Or maybe the deterioration of well-being is a natural action of the antibiotic (because the body fights?). Currently day 5th, Erdomed discontinued as prescribed, continuation of the antibiotic. Should you be concerned and contact your doctor or calmly continue the treatment?
