Paracetamol (e.g. Apap, Paracetamol Biofarm) only at a dose greater than 3 g per day (6 tablets of 500 mg), reduces the effectiveness of contraception. A single intake of 1 or 2 paracetamol tablets does not adversely affect the effectiveness of contraception and does not reduce protection against pregnancy. There is no need to worry.
