What sedative can be used simultaneously with oral contraception?

It is worth looking for drugs containing extracts of lemon balm, hop cones, valerian. They have a calming effect and can be safely used together with oral contraception. These are over-the-counter drugs such as m.in. However, please remember to avoid preparations containing St. John's wort extracts (e.g. St. John's wort Fix, Hyperherba), as it may weaken the effectiveness of hormonal contraception.
