Yes - antibiotics, especially such as amoxicillin or tetracyclines, can significantly affect the operation of contraceptive pills, weakening their effect. Therefore, during the use of the antibiotic and for 7 days after the end of the course, it is recommended to use an additional form of contraception in the form of a condom.
