Hello, can I take the po pill after (ellaOne) after drinking a few drinks? Does it matter somehow? I take Slinda on a daily basis, but I forgot twice and had two intercourse with ejaculation.
If I wanted to take it today, should I still take Slinda normally today? Please answer. Intercourse took place yesterday with ejaculation and today. Should we wait until the morning? And should I take Slinda normally? Please answer

Alcohol does not affect the effectiveness of ellaOne emergency contraception unless it causes vomiting or diarrhoea.

Slinda should be taken normally, both today and in the following days. The use of ellaOne may reduce the effectiveness of standard contraception. For this reason, an additional method of contraception (such as condoms) should be used until the end of the current packaging during intercourse. The effectiveness of ellaOne as an emergency contraceptive is greatest if you take the pill within 24 hours of the first unprotected intercourse. Therefore, if you suspect that you will not vomit after drinking alcohol within 3-4 hours of taking the pill, you can definitely use emergency contraception.
