I wanted to switch from one-component contraceptive pills to two-component contraceptive pills. Yesterday I mixed up the pills and took the first pill from the pack of one-ingredient ones, how do I switch to two-ingredient now? Do I need to protect myself?

You can take your first tablet of Microgynon 21 straight away and continue to use your medication as scheduled. For the first 7 days, however, I recommend using an additional form of protection, such as a condom, as there is a risk that the contraceptive protection will be weakened.

Single-ingredient slinda I took all the pills to the end with these four greens, and wanted to switch to microgynon 21 two-component. Yesterday I mixed up the packaging and took the first slinda tablet instead of microgynon21, can I take microgynon21 today? First or second pill?

Please clarify what are the exact names of the one-ingredient and two-component tablets. Did you take any breaks or placebo tablets before taking the first pill in the single-ingredient pack?
