Hello, I started using hormonal contraception, the gynecologist prescribed me the drug Vines, due to the fact that this is my first contraception. I took the first tablet on the first day of menstruation. I wanted to ask because I'm already on the 12th tablet and I still have a slight bleeding, like a smaller menstrual period, is this a cause for concern?

Yes. During the first months of using hormonal contraception, bleeding may be prolonged, scanty or more abundant, or not occur at all. Spotting during the use of active birth control pills is also not unusual - it can take place for the first 3 months and should not be taken with concern. Please use the medicine every day, at the same time, without skipping doses, and after a while everything should normalize. If this did not happen - then I would recommend visiting a specialist, but at the moment there is no reason to worry.
