Does retinol affect the effectiveness of birth control pills?

Does retinol affect the effectiveness of birth control pills? I know this is a bit of a strange question, but I've heard that pregnant women can't use it, and I've wondered if it has any effect on birth control pills. I have been using retinol lotion for stretch marks for a week, and birth control pills for over half a year.
