Should I change my Nuvaring disc to birth control pills if my hair still falls out after 3 months of use?

I am at the time of 3 applications of the disc and my hair is still falling out terribly, should I change the disc to another method of contraception, eg pills?

The side effects of hormonal contraceptive methods may disappear and usually happen within the first 3-6 months of use. That's about how long the body needs to adapt. If the side effects are very bothersome, it is worth reporting it to your gynecologist, who will decide on the best further treatment for you. I enclose a leaflet: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/55364/nuvaring-przyrzad/ulotka and materials that may be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/wypadanie-wlosow Reporting side effects to a doctor or individually allows you to gather more information about the safety of medicines and update data about them, which can help other patients in the future. We wrote about how to report them here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
