During treatment with Propranolol, the use of medicines based on ibuprofen and derivatives should be avoided. Ibuprofen (and most likely its derivatives like flurbiprofen contained in Strepsils) may reduce the hypotensive effect of propranolol, so such a combination is not advisable.
