Does herbitussin honey and lemon affect contraception? I know it contains licorice root, I only took 1 tablet. Will this weaken my contraception?

To @Aneta:
Garlic or other foods do not affect the function of the implant. The advantage of the contraceptive implant is that both the food consumed and the gastrointestinal discomfort (diarrhea, vomiting) do not affect its effectiveness and protection is maintained at all times. More here:

Hello, I have had a sore throat for a few days now and I drink milk with a clove of garlic every night, can this weaken the effect of the contraceptive implant? I also had a salad with garlic sauce with lots of garlic.

I understand thank you

To @Monika: Yes, protection will be provided after proper use of the tablets for 7 days.

It was the 14th pill . In a week I start placebo, I know, protection will come back for placebo? What should I do?

To @Monika: As long as you have taken the tablet whole, there is no reason to worry about its effectiveness. If some of the tablet crumbled (you would rather notice it), it could mean that you did not take the entire dose of the drug and the protection would be weakened for the next 7 days.

I pulled the 14th tablet from the blister and when I touched the foil of the tablet protectors I felt the tablet, I did not pay attention to whether I scratched the tablet or damaged. I swallowed it. What if it was slightly damaged or a tiny fraction fell off?

Monika (Anonymous, 188.47.117.) 14 months ago

I added a question about my earlier statement about diarrhea but did not get an answer. So I'll paste them here. I got diarrhea after taking 20 of this tablet from a blister. You advised me that the next day instead of the nastonej tablet I started pills without hormones (placebo) but then I was already on the 4th placebo tablet. I did so that I got something ala diarrhea after 20 tablets (I think it could have weakened the effect) And on the next day I took another 21st tablet. It wasn't until later that I started the placebo. When the protection will return in that case. Sorry for the confusion but worried

I ate the sauce whole. I made it from one larger clove of garlic. And I ate it right after the pill. Is there anything to fear?

What if I ate fries with garlic sauce immediately after swallowing a vibin tablet? . The sauce was made from one cube of garlic
