What are the reviews for Slinda?

Hey everyone! These will be my first tablets and of course I have a lot of doubts, especially because of Slinda there are practically no opinions. How did you react to the tablets? Does continuous sting affect many of you? I don't hide that it's a little disturbing to me. I would be very grateful for any information/feedback! With!

Slinda is a one-component hormonal preparation containing drospirenone. Slinda inhibits ovulation, causes changes in cervical mucus, and also affects the endometrium. During the use of the drug, irregular spotting and bleeding may occur. It may also happen that bleeding will not occur at all. Any medicine used can cause side effects. However, this does not mean that every patient will experience them. The most commonly reported side effects are, m.in, headache, abdominal pain, nausea, mood swings, acne, breast discomfort, weight gain: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/101505/slinda-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka If you see side effects of Slinda, I encourage you to report them. Hello, I have been taking this pill for almost 9 months. At the beginning 0 worries, no more rules which suits me fully because suffering from endometriosis it really relieves me.
However for a few months I started to have adverse effects such as a slight weight gain (5 kilos), acnea but also chest pain (very sensitive) even wearing a bra was an ordeal ... But the problem is that for the past 2-3 weeks I have dizziness, headaches every day (almost to bang my head against the walls), has an allegic reaction to the sun and tachycardia accompanied by pain in the left arm I immediately made an appointment with the cardiologist but he tells me that it must be hormonal (I have an appointment with the gynecologist next week) and I think I will stop this pill.

Hello, I am 47 years old and have endometriosis. I have been taking this pill for more than 2 months to stop menstruation and limit pain. For the moment it can be managed BUT hair loss, no more energy, zero libido, severe skin dryness, acute loss of concentration and dragon mood! To be precise, I suffer from chronic depression and am already under treatment. In short, I'm thinking of having my organs removed or a total stop of contraception. On the other hand, I don't want periods and intense pain anymore... I'm lost 🥹

Hello,
With Slinda for my part: depressive state, weight gain (10kg)

Nadja (Anonymous, 62.77.47.) 38 days ago

I took Slinda for 6 months for problems during premenopause. I felt great throughout the period of taking the drug if it weren't for the fact that touching my breasts I discovered that I had a hard lump which, analyzed, was also malignant. I read that among the side effects of Slinda there is breast cancer. So Slinda in my opinion has made this tumor grow exponentially as the mammography check done before was ok.

12345 (Anonymous, 78.208.14.) 46 days ago

Bleeding nonstop (not just spotting, heavy menstruation-like) from first day onwards, terrible reaction after ten days of taking it (I couldn't even breathe anymore and my hands wouldn't stop shaking in the middle of the night), acne out of control, aches everywhere, mood swings until I quit taking it, extreme dryness (vagina, vulva, nose, mouth, eyes), constant aches to my legs, diarrhea until I quit taking it, never-ending need to pee until I quit taking it. I've stopped a month ago and my menstruation, headaches, acne and aches are chaos. I'm not even sure it ever worked because it did NOT stop ovulation (I did not get further menstruation when I stopped taking it, the blood stopped flowing the next day after not taking the pill the previous evening; didn't have any more spotting nor bleeding until when I had the following menstruations).

I could find absolutely no pros.

Paulina 43 (Anonymous, 188.146.156.) 54 days ago

For me, Slinda is terrible. Within a few days of starting use, my body stopped water. I'm swollen, I have a huge belly, my calves and breasts hurt. My breasts are so sensitive that I feel pain from the water jet in the shower. I have hunger pangs, food cravings, very sensitive facial skin. On top of that, it is harder for me to breathe and my hands often shake. I will add that I drink the right amount of water and eat healthy (catering) and I noticed all these symptoms only after using these pills.

I'm super pleased. No side effects, I didn't bleed anything from the beginning. I've been taking it for three years now.
For me, Slinda worked perfectly.

Hello
I have been taking Slinda for less than a month I have 4 doses left before the green tablets I had been taking desogestrel for 15 years there I have had uterine pain by spasms for 10 days and breast pain I really hesitate to continue and take back desogestrel too bad for the neuro risks

Hannah (Anonymous, 210.50.143.) 4 months ago

Hi, I've been on Slinda for over 18 months. It was great in the beginning, as I haven't had any periods since a couple of months in. On the other hand, I've been steadily gaining weight (around 10kg +) due to very hard to control food cravings and constant thoughts of sugary foods. I have also been experiencing significant mood swings which I never had before while not on the pill. However the final straw is the female pattern baldness - I have noticed thinning hair at the forehead and hairline. My lush hair is no more and this in combination with the weight gain have affected my private life. I will be stopping Slinda shortly in the hopes that these symptoms improve.

Milli  (Anonymous, 94.31.69.) 4 months ago

I am now taking Slinda for 9 months to keep my iron levels stable.
Because Slinda suppresses my period very reliably and is also recommended for patients with severe PMS symptoms. Unfortunately, I have a number of side effects, so I'm finally stopping them. Side effects: - Gained 6 kg - Very bad complexion - Swollen dark circles under the eyes (very severe) - Very reduced libido

Its the third I take this silinda pill I still have ascus bleeding so normal

Lela (Anonymous, 2001:861:3e03:9fe0::) 6 months ago

On Slinda for 1 year and a half continuously, it's a pleasure, unless I forget her, even if it's only for 6/8 hours.
I already have a depressive background with strong menstrual pain and a premenstrual syndrome that destroyed my morale. Other pills accentuated this, longer periods and I cried all month.

With Slinda at the beginning I had breast pain, some dizziness then it calmed down and I noticed that my morale had improved. However, I quickly realized that the periods following taking the placebos were absolutely disastrous, on the one hand my morale was awful, on the other my cycle could not adjust to it and I had a period rebound later with premenstrual syndrome worse than usual, we quickly made the decision to switch to continuous intake.

Since then, I don't have any more periods, apart from meagre spottings barely every 3 months that don't cause pain, just a little discomfort. My morale has improved, no skin or weight problems. Slight drop in libido but nothing to do with my previous pills and especially no problem of dryness etc.

On the other hand, if I forget one, it's a disaster for several weeks, I immediately find myself out of whack, I only cry as soon as I wake up and have nervous strokes, it's very tiring and I come to not recognize myself anymore. Now that I know it, I have 3x more alarms and especially 3x more precautions on my daily life and my morale when I see that it will happen to me after forgetting.

In short, the perfect pill for me, except when I forget it, I know in advance that if I have to change it one day I will need psychological help, in the meantime by taking it, I feel much better thanks to the cessation of my periods and PMS

Hello
I've been taking Slinda for 1 year and a half, To break my period because I had significant premenstrual symptoms. The first few months a few spotting, then no periods at all. I am relieved because I no longer have periods and therefore no more premenstrual symptoms. On the other hand I have acne until now I could bear but now for 2 months and a half I have a significant loss of my hair. I'm hesitant to stop it...

Enja  (Anonymous, 2a02:908:a15:9b20::) 8 months ago

I have been taking the Slinda 4 mg for a month. Before that, I took desogestrel for six years.

The last 8 months I had gotten my mens with the desogestrel, again with pain (take the mini-pill due to endometriosis)

In the first week with Slinda I had severe nausea, fatigue, lightheadedness and a tingling sensation in my legs. I suffer from an anxiety disorder with silent panic attacks, but I have the feeling that the pill does not affect it.

The last four tablets in the blister are placebos. During this time I became weak, tired and had headaches. After starting the new blister, fatigue and nausea reappeared. So far I have not had any bleeding.

Loupiote (Anonymous, 91.169.153.) 9 months ago

I've been taking Slinda for 1 year. At the beginning a lot of losses, sporting. Some breast pain. After 6 months, strong periods that lasted 1 full month. For 6 months no more periods, no bleeding. Period pain at the end of the 5 days but nothing more. Weight gain of 6kg, hair loss, worsening symptoms of depression and vaginal dryness. No acne, no headaches. I'll see the gynaecologist again in 1 month to take stock.

The drugs are massacre. I've been using it for a month and it's been bleeding for a month. In addition, zero will to live, depressive states and a lot of crying. My complexion on my face hasn't changed, but my entire back has been covered with specific acne... These are my first pills - do they all cause so many side effects? I'm fed up

Anonym  (Anonymous, 88.71.143.) 11 months ago

Hey, I've been taking the Slinda mini-pill for about 3 weeks now. This is also my first hormonal contraceptive method. I've really been so incredibly satisfied so far. However, my bleeding stopped after less than 2 weeks. Is that normal? Of course I'm happy about it, but I only hear that they would actually stop after months. Then suddenly I had nausea, circulatory problems and was enormously tired. But that doesn't last all the time. Does anyone feel the same way? I think I could live with it, but the uncertainty of whether it's because of the pill actually makes me psychologically very exhausted

Hello, my name is Amélie, to date it has been 38 days now that I have been taking the SLINDA pill, I think that this pill is a little too dosed for me, it inhibits my ovulation, I have very very stomach pain, unbearable pain, I have nausea, a huge drop in my libido, and it has now been 3 years that I have been with my boyfriend I am 18 years old, And our intimate life is more complicated, when sexual intercourse occurs, the entrance to my vagina burns and hurts extremely, penetration is then impossible, it had never occurred before this contraception, is this normal? I still have irregular bleeding outside of my period cycle which also prevents intimate moments with my boyfriend which are very rare, my mood is sad and angry, which is not like me at all, I have acne and a lot of chest pain as well as high tension. Can you help me please? My gynecologist is not present before the beginning of July, I don't know what to do, should I stop her? If so, how?? Thank you very much.

Hello, I've been taking Slinds for 23 days now, this is the first time I've taken a pill. I was at the FA due to a 6-week continuous bleeding. It was found that my mucous membrane is thickened. Therapy was done, then it went on for 2 months. At the beginning of April I was for a check-up, everything was ok and because I said that I was overdue again, the doctor said until the end of April, otherwise the therapy would wait again. My period came 4 weeks late and I started the Slinda pill that was prescribed to me at the check-up so that I no longer have to worry about bleeding. For 23 days, regularly at the same time I have been taking the pill, for 23 days bleeding sometimes more, sometimes less, otherwise no side effects, I feel mentally better and my skin has improved, the only thing is this continuous bleeding. My FA is of course on vacation at the moment. I can't do the bleeding anymore. Is that normal? Should I stop?

Hello everyone,
Suffering from endometriosis, I was prescribed the Slinda pill continuously three months ago to stop my periods and relieve my pain. Regarding my pelvic pain, the results are quite spectacular. Unfortunately, at the same time, I observed almost simultaneously major respiratory problems (especially at bedtime: difficulty breathing, need to yawn several times to get air into my lungs, feeling unwell...). After consulting a cardiologist, it seems that this is due to strong anxiety attacks. I am convinced that the pill has increased my anxiety, but I find myself faced with a dilemma: stop it, at the risk of my endometriosis pain returning, or continue it and endure these respiratory crises? What to do? I'm lost and open to any similar feedback or experience, thank you

Hello, I take Slinda frankly she is perfect. No problem. It may play on fatigue or my morale but hey that's a lot of pills.
It suits me perfectly, really, I'm very happy with it because I had a complicated period with my old pill. With my husband we don't wear a condom because I can't stand any surprises!

Hey, I've been taking slinda for 2 weeks and unfortunately I got my period suddenly, so unexpectedly I'm very disappointed because something like this shouldn't happen. I had taken Dionelle before and I felt great. Besides, my hair gets very greasy and falls out with slinda. Personally, I do not recommend it and I am coming back to Dionella.

Maga (Anonymous, 2a02:8440:d117:e672::) 13 months ago

Hello, I started Slinda 4 months ago, no more spotting, regulated vaginal secretions, my flawless skin, great.
In terms of libido, it's a disaster!

And after 4 months, menstruation in the middle of it! Desperate! Yet don't forget! I hope it will normalize!

I don't know which pill to adopt...

There you go!

Chiara (Anonymous, 151.95.199.) 14 months ago

I've been taking slinda for 3 years. I'm a wonder. No more cycles. No more pain. Improved skin and hair. Weight in the usual oscillations. Libido unchanged (always high).
But you have to be patient. The first 4/5 months I had spotting randomly, then it stabilized. I didn't have any other problems. Ps: I recommend (given the disappearance of the period) a pregnancy test every 3 months to avoid surprises.

Kitty (Anonymous, 2401:d002:d803:cc00::) 14 months ago

I started Slinda for heavy and painful periods in December 24. Shortly after starting it, I started getting what felt like a stitch in my lower right rib. This slowly got worse over time. It was so bad that I couldn't do anything (cook, clean etc) without pain getting up to 8/10. I noticed a trend with this in an online support group for Slinda.
I also had zero energy and hair loss. So I stopped about two weeks ago after the 3 months were finished. My pain has slowly gone away and energy coming back, but now I'm dealing with rebound fluid retention in my stomach!! This pill is an absolute nightmare,I wish I never took it

Fedimic (Anonymous, 151.34.75.) 15 months ago

I have been taking slinda for almost a year now, prescribed by the gynecologist because I smoke. I must say that compared to other contraceptives including pills and vaginal ring, it is the only one that does not give me any kind of problem! Neither mood swings, depression, nor pain nothing!
The only thing that has been going on for 5 months now that I have not had any kind of cycle I don't know if it is normal.

Olga (Anonymous, 151.18.103.) 15 months ago

I've been taking Slinda for almost 2 years, I don't have a period in the 4 days, it's a common effect, I feel good, my skin is clean. I used it during breastfeeding, the doctor recommended me to stay at Slinda, if I feel good and not to change with a ring or estrogen pill. I'm 33 years old.

Mado (Anonymous, 87.67.47.) 15 months ago

Hello
I've been taking Slinda for two months and my skin has changed: I have acne that happens more and more, both in the back, on the face, on my scalp which has become very oily and itchy because of the pimples. In addition, I no longer have libido. I'm going to stop it and take the Diane 35 where I had a magnificent skin. I don't want to relive the hell of my adolescence with this acne. Obviously, each person reacts differently. Take care of yourself.

Mell (Anonymous, 2a02:2454:992e:9e00::) 15 months ago

I've been taking the pill for 6 months now and I'm going to stop taking it now. In the beginning everything was okay but now I notice almost all the side effects of it. Chest pain, intermenstrual bleeding, migraines, very reduced libido, fatigue, my neurodermatitis has gotten worse and my skin is worse than ever. In addition, there is weight gain and my psyche is feeling absoulut bad.

Shah (Anonymous, 2003:f5:ff1c:713f::) 15 months ago

Background: Unfortunately, gynecologists have messed up my entire hormonal balance since I was 12 by constantly prescribing me other pills. I have not tolerated all the combination pills of all generations. I then stopped taking this on my own responsibility in the fall of 2018. About 1 year later my symptoms began and in July 22 I was diagnosed by an endocrinologist that I have polycystic ovary syndrome. The solution, on the other hand, as a woman who does not want children at the moment: Slinda. It was a completely new pill on the German market at the time and I trusted the Endo and started taking the Slinda from July 2022.
Positive: My PCOS symptoms such as oily and blemished skin on my face, severe body acne on my back and décolleté & severe hair loss were gone immediately after taking it. I had about the first 6 months of continuous spotting and otherwise no problems. I think it's very good that I don't have a real period anymore, because it was always very irregular and far too frequent for me. Negative: From July 2023, I noticed that my libido is virtually non-existent. Since I'm single, it didn't bother me. From about October 2023, I noticed that my hair loss is getting stronger again, my scalp is constantly oily and my facial skin behaves very strangely (flaky, oily at the same time). I also noticed heavy sweating and hot flashes again and again. Then I did all the blood tests at the family doctor and gynecologist and everything was fine. However, problems still remain. In the summer of 2024, I gained about 10kg within 3 months, although I had no changes in eating habits in life. Very, very strange. Then I went back to my Endo to have my blood drawn and lo and behold: the Slinda has completely dragged my estrogen level into the basement. So the pill not only reduces the testosterone level, but also the estrogen level. To counteract this, I was prescribed the gynokadingel with the active ingredient estradiol. I've been using this since September 2024. With clear instructions from the Endo that as long as I take the Slinda, I must also use Gynokadin. So I have a combination treatment again, so to speak. In addition, I have been using Minoxidil against hair loss on the advice of my Endo since September 2024. Status as of 05.3.25: All the symptoms I have had since July 2023 are still present and none of them have improved. In addition, I have been suffering from intermenstrual bleeding (sometimes with cramps) for 3 months, although I continue to take the Slinda as I should. I recently had my estrogen level checked by my gynecologist with a blood test and thanks to the gynokadingel, it is probably back in the absolute normal range for my age. Then have a complete blood count done again by the family doctor with a focus on the thyroid gland, again the values are all perfect. Neither the family doctor nor the gynecologist know where my complaints could come from. Then I went looking for it and read through the package insert of the Slinda and lo and behold: all the symptoms I have are listed as side effects. It is an indictment of the Endo & gynecologist that they did not think that it could come from Slinda. I only have one blister of Slinda left and will take it in March, but then stop taking the pill. In April there is an appointment with a new Endo and I will tell you everything. Hopefully I will be helped better. And if not, I will try natural remedies for PCOS such as cyclositol etc. Slinda was really my salvation for a short time, but in the long run I can't tolerate this pill (like all the others before).

Hey!

I have been using this medication for 2 months.
Recently, I have noticed excessive hair loss, frequent sweating, hot flashes, spotting every second or third day. When it comes to my well-being, it is also weaker, I have no energy and strength for anything.

Lia  (Anonymous, 78.245.168.) 15 months ago

Pill that I couldn't stand at all ...
I took optimizette but zero libido and acne. So I changed to slinda, at first the dream, zero pimples, libido ok, no swollen belly and spotting. After 3 months I started to have discomfort and drops in blood pressure - I thought it was overwork. Then followed very strong nausea in the evening, palpitations, I was short of breath and very tired. I went to see the cardiologist, the gastroenter, the general practitioner .. I haven't thought about the pill. After two months of medical examinations, the verdict came down and it was the pill in question. Way too strong for me. Since I stopped it I have no more symptoms.

Tester  (Anonymous, 2003:dc:6715:9900::) 15 months ago

I have now taken the preparation for six weeks and stopped taking it.
I had the following side effects (without actually looking at the package insert in advance to fully engage with it) -Fatigue - Abdominal pain - Chest pull -Spotting - Psyche (extremely whiny, easily irritable, depressed) - Water retention - increased appetite - decreased libido - Vaginal dryness (despite estrogen ointment 2x a week)

I do not recommend this preparation.

For 3-4 days I have had "Period" bleeding with pain ++ in the lower abdomen. My gynaecologist prescribed me this pill because I am a migraine sufferer with ophthalmic ora. I don't know if it's normal, my husband wants me to stop it because I'm sluggish ++ what to do? Thank you

I am 39 years old. I have had ovarian cysts for 4 years, which have also had to be operated on. Due to the cysts, I was prescribed the Slinda 3 months ago. However, I can't tolerate the pill at all. I have spotting, no libido, aching breasts and trouble sleeping. However, I used to not tolerate the normal pill with estrogen either (water retention, high blood pressure, constant fungal diseases, etc.) and therefore stopped taking it.

Hello, for some time now I have started my adventure with Slinda, it is my first contraception of this type. I noticed a very significant deterioration of the skin condition, problems with constipation and vaginal discharge resembling yellow-white cottage cheese. I don't know what to think about it, is it normal, temporary?

Kasia (Anonymous, 188.33.234.) 15 months ago

Be careful with these pills as if they were so harmless, and the mood goes down to tearfulness and apathy. After stopping after 3 weeks, I feel light and myself at last. They had a lot of impact on my psyche and in a very negative way

Kasia (Anonymous, 188.33.234.) 15 months ago

My reaction was, small side effects only spotting, actually maybe a little weaker hair, a decrease in appetite and weight from 3 kg in 5 months. Stomach problems. On the other hand, I feel bad, seriously depressed and tired. Lack of desire for anything, poor libido. I stopped and revived, in my opinion they have a lot of influence on my mood, unfortunately I took it negatively for 5 months.

I've been taking slinda for almost a year... initially I had intermenstrual spotting for a few months and very little or no bleeding during the placebo but only period pains that were also quite strong... for a few months I have been taking it continuously and the pain and loss are completely over... every now and then a little nausea and tiredness but bearable
