A week ago, I shifted the time I took birth control pills from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 30. Today, on the 25th day of the cycle, a slight spotting appeared (a drop of blood or even less). Could it have something to do with the time shift?

Such a small change in the time you take the tablets should not affect your bleeding/spotting. However, this cannot be completely ruled out.
