Hello, I am 26 years old, I am currently taking Euthyrox (1x125/2) and Budesonide LEK-AM (2 x 200) + Asmenol. The doctor prescribed me a Bibloc (1x1.25) for elevated blood pressure. In the leaflet of the drug Bibloc I found information that you should be careful with asthma / do not use with acute asthma. My asthma is not acute. Can I take Bibloc with confidence? I was also recently prescribed Slinda by a gynecologist for high blood pressure. Is this combination of drugs OK? Thank you for your reply.

Bibloc is a drug belonging to the group of beta-blockers. Beta-adrenergic receptors are located, m.in. in the smooth muscles of the bronchi, their inhibition can lead to bronchospasm, therefore caution is recommended in the use of drugs from this group in people suffering from asthma. Bisoprolol (the active substance of Bibloc) belongs to selective beta-blockers, which means that it has a low affinity for receptors located in the smooth muscles of the bronchi, usually does not affect resistance in the respiratory tract and can be used in asthmatics. If the prescribers had knowledge of all the preparations used and the diseases that occurred, you can use the above combination of drugs.
