On Monday I forgot to take the 5th tablet of Vines. I had intercourse that day. On Tuesday I took 2 tablets at the same time at the same time. Is it worth reaching for the tablet the day after?

Information contained in the summary of product characteristics of Vines: "Tablet missal: days 1 – 7. A woman should take the last missed tablet as soon as she remembers, even if it means taking 2 tablets at the same time. She should then continue taking the tablets at the usual time. At the same time, she should use a mechanical method, e.g. a condom, for the next 7 days. If intercourse occurs during the 7 days preceding the omission of the first tablet, the possibility of pregnancy should be considered. The more pills are missed and the shorter the time interval between skipping them and the duration of taking placebo tablets, the greater the risk of pregnancy." To minimize the risk of unwanted pregnancy, it is worth consulting with a gynecologist about the possible use of emergency contraception.
