Is it normal to stop menstruation immediately after starting contraception?

Good morning, I wanted to ask if it is normal that with the start of taking birth control pills (I did as the doctor recommended, from the 1st day of the cycle) my menstruation can last only half a day? I started the day before yesterday and there was bleeding for half a day, but then not. I wanted to make sure it was normal.

Often at the beginning of using contraceptive pills (up to 3 cycles = 3 packages) bleeding lasts a short time or does not occur at all even during a few days break or the use of placebo pills (depends on the preparation you use). In my opinion, you have no cause for concern. Perhaps the body reacted very quickly to hormone levels and shortened the bleeding.
