There is no information that eating a sandwich with lots of raw onions reduces the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill. The interaction of hormones with garlic is also not described in any of the leaflets of hormonal contraceptive pills known to me. Birth control pills can be used with or without food, but at about the same time each day. During the use of contraception, you can eat normally.
