Is it possible to take a blood pregnancy test in the laboratory by taking birth control pills and it will be reliable? Can the hormones contained in the tablets falsify it into a negative one?

Taking birth control pills, you can do a blood pregnancy test in the laboratory. The hormones contained in the tablets will not affect the result of the test. The pregnancy test, both the one from the pharmacy and the laboratory test from the blood, determines the concentration of chorionic gonadotropin, which is produced in the body after fertilization (i.e. if you were pregnant). The tablets contain a combination of estrogen and progestin - these hormones are not detectable during the beta HCG test, that is, the pregnancy test.
