Reducing the dose of Exista should be done under the close supervision and advice of your doctor. Your doctor should determine how to reduce the dose. If you believe that the dose reduction process implemented by your doctor is too fast and you experience increased symptoms of malaise, you should consult your doctor again. It is possible that due to the high doses of the drug used, the process of completing the therapy will be long.

If you stop taking Exista, you may experience withdrawal symptoms. Patients may experience sleep disturbances, headache, nausea, anxiety, diarrhoea, flu-like symptoms, seizures, nervousness, depression, thoughts of harming themselves or suicide, pain, excessive sweating and dizziness. According to the information provided with the medicine, these symptoms may be more frequent or more severe if you have been taking Exista for a long time.

If withdrawal symptoms occur, it is recommended to consult a doctor. You can also take advantage of a paid teleconsultation in Polish arranged e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja

I also encourage you to report any side effects related to the dose reduction process of Exista. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over commercially available medicines. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane

You can read about whether to be afraid of side effects in our article:

Here, however, we wrote when you can stop taking medication:

I am attaching a link to check the availability of Exista and make a reservation in the selected pharmacy:
