Is it normal that I lost my appetite after increasing the dose of Venlectine?

I've been taking venlecetine 75mg for 7 weeks now but after 6 weeks I didn't notice any improvement, the only thing I did was sleep through the night. For a week the doctor has increased my dose of 150 mg, I still don't feel any improvement, maybe the fear of a new day has slightly passed.
After a week of taking the drug I lost my appetite, is this normal. In the evening, my appetite is activated a bit. Is it normal for this to happen?

Venlectine (as well as a significant proportion of other antidepressants) begins to work within a few weeks of starting the treatment. Some patients show improvement after 14 days, while others see a little longer. Usually, after one month of treatment, a first assessment of the effect of the drug can be made.

Decreased appetite in patients taking Venlectine is a common side effect.

I suggest that you contact your doctor and tell him what symptoms you have observed after increasing the dose of the medicine. You may need to change your dosage or switch to a different medication. If you are unable to contact your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

I encourage you to report the symptoms you are experiencing to your doctor, as well as to report the occurrence of an adverse reaction of the preparation. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over the medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:
