0currently I have been taking vibin for almost 4 years, I would like to put on a Mirena hormonal IUD, but I take Escitalopram actavis and hydroxyzine on an ad hoc basis. My question is whether these medications and the IUD are not mutually exclusive and I can safely put it on?

It is important that you discuss your concerns and plans for changing contraception with the treating doctor who is most familiar with your current medical condition.
As a pharmacist, I can only give you general information. There are no contraindications to the simultaneous use of the drugs mentioned in the question. According to the current medical literature, there should be no interactions between the two preparations that are harmful to health or the effects of drugs.
