Good morning. She has been using contraception in Atywie Daily since 2019. Since the previous month, during active tablets, I have brown spotting with delicate clots. I take active tablets, including msc, from September 17 and September 21, after about 14 hours after taking the tablet, I vomited. I was at the gynecologist on September 18 and there is nothing alarming (cyst collapsed from several months, endometrium 4mm). Can such spotting affect the effect of contraception?

Yes, excessive stress can contribute to the occurrence of spotting. Contraceptive efficacy is preserved.
I've had a lot of stress in the last two months. Today my right ovary also hurts, which is where the cyst is.
Could this be the reason why such spotting occurs? The effectiveness of contraception is preserved as I understand it.

If the pills were used as directed, then regardless of spotting, contraceptive protection remains preserved. Vomiting 14 hours after taking the pill does not affect the effect of contraception.
Spotting or intracyclic bleeding during the use of contraceptive pills may occur not only at the beginning of the use of contraceptive pills, but also after a long time, e.g. as a result of illness or excessive stress. If the gynecologist has ruled out non-hormonal causes, then there is no cause for concern.
