Today I got the first contraceptive pill - lesiplus. Can I start taking them on any day of the cycle? If so, after what time would they be most effective?

Birth control pills, in this case Lesiplus, are an effective method of contraception as long as they are used as directed by the manufacturer. When it comes to starting birth control pills, there are two different methods, depending on whether you start taking them on the first day of your period or on another day of your cycle: 1) Start on the first day of your period: This is the safest way. If you start taking the pills on the first day of your period, they will work as contraception immediately and you will not need to use an additional method of contraception, such as condoms. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/prezerwatywy-dla-mezczyzn 2) Starting on a different day of your cycle: If you start taking birth control pills on a day other than the first day of your period, there is a period during which you will need to use an additional method of contraception for the first 7 days of taking the pills. After this period, when you take at least 7 more tablets, the pills will become effective as a method of contraception.
