Could a single loose stool have reduced the effectiveness of Axia Conti and made intercourse risky?
Good morning, on Monday at 23:00 I took a tablet Axia Conti and 3 hours later I gave 1 very loose stool. It was a week with placebo tablets (penultimate tablet). I started the next leaf according to the rhythm on Sunday evening. On Sunday morning, there was intercourse with the use of a condom. It did not slip and did not break. Could this 1 very loose stool reduce the effectiveness of the pills and make intercourse in Sun risky? Thank you for your help

So as I understand it, this situation plus intercourse with a condom does not pose any (apart from statistical) risk?

A single loose stool does not affect the effectiveness of contraception, even if it occurred after taking the active pill.

If a single loose stool occurred 3 hours after taking placebo tablets (which do not contain the active substance), it should not have a direct effect on the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill. In this case, it is the contraceptive protection that should be preserved.
