After the first dose of antibiotics, the risk of weakening the contraceptive effect is small, so in such a situation the risk of a possible pregnancy is low. With the duration of therapy, the risk of weakening the effectiveness of contraception increases, therefore, throughout the period of antibiotic use and for 7 days after its use, mechanical contraception in the form of a condom should be additionally used.
