Good morning. I had the Mirena system in January and I've been bleeding ever since. The doctor prescribed me Liberelle to stop bleeding and calm the body. I have already taken 10 tablets and still the same. Is I still taking Liberelle and is there a chance for my body to accept Mirena?

I suggest using Liberelle for the period indicated by the gynecologist. Unfortunately, it is difficult to answer unequivocally whether the bleeding will definitely stop. Theoretically, over time, as well as under the influence of additional hormones, bleeding should decrease. However, this is an individual matter. According to the Mirena documentation, many women experience frequent spotting or minor bleeding for the first 3 to 6 months after insertion of the system in addition to menstrual bleeding. In some patients, they may get worse or last longer than usual. It is then recommended to contact a doctor, which you did: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane In general, however, it is expected and possible to gradually reduce the number of bleeding days and the amount of blood lost each month. There are patients in whom menstruation disappears after some time with the system at all.
