Should I stop taking antibiotics if I have intermittent bleeding with birth control pills?

If I got vaginal bleeding after the antibiotic Augmentin, should I stop taking the medicine? I take an antibiotic already on the 5th day, 2 tablets every 12 hours. I have been using contraception (atively) for over a year and I have never had spotting during the cycle.

To @Zipi: Yes, withdrawal bleeding should normally occur during a break from taking hormone pills.

Despite spotting, will withdrawal bleeding occur during antibiotic treatment?

The antibiotic may weaken the effectiveness of birth control pills and bleeding or mid-cyclic spotting may occur. Antibiotic therapy should not be discontinued. Please continue to take Atywia tablets despite bleeding. Since protection may be reduced, an additional form of contraception in the form of a condom should be used throughout the period of taking the antibiotic and for 7 days after the end of antibiotic therapy.
