Can taking two birth control pills in one day cause bleeding?

I took the missed birth control pill and took two of it at once that day and the next day there was bleeding. Lasts the second day or is it by taking two doses?

The bleeding may have been caused by a longer break in taking the tablets, which occurred as a result of skipping the tablet. This is a normal reaction of the body, there is no reason to worry. For the next 7 days, an additional, mechanical method of contraception, e.g. condoms, should be used.
