Is brown spotting after EllaOne a side effect of taking the pill?

Hello. I had sex with my boyfriend from Thursday to Friday (18/19 August). I protect myself with vines tablets and condoms, but since August 15 I have had diarrhea. On August 21, just in case, I take ellaone. On the same day I had a very slight brown spotting, on the leaflet he writes that it is due to side effects - can it be so? I read a lot about implant tailoring. I need a more specific response from a specialist.

The so-called implant bleeding or implant spotting, which is the result of implantation of the embryo in the wall of the uterus, occurs only in about a third - a quarter of women who become pregnant. It occurs approximately between 6-12 days after fertilization. Assuming that you could have become pregnant on August 18/19 because the pills may not have had their effect since August 15, implant bleeding would have occurred around August 24 at the earliest. Unusual or irregular vaginal bleeding (intermenstrual bleeding) is an uncommon but possible side effect of EllaOne. Spotting can also be the result of less hormones in the body, if in fact the diarrhea lasting from August 15 was so severe that it had a real impact on the absorption of active substances from the tablet. To @Olaola: Yes, it may happen that bleeding does not occur and in this case a pregnancy test should be performed.

If I took ellaone while taking vines birth control pills, might withdrawal tailoring not occur at all?

To @Olaola: unfortunately, I do not know what tablets you use and for what time, so it is difficult for me to answer. If these are classic two-component tablets, you should bleed only during a break or with placebo tablets. Spotting or bleeding on active pills may occur during the first three or so months of contraceptive use. After that, they should not occur - if they are, then contact with a gynecologist is indicated.

In 7 days I finish taking active pills and move on to placebo. Two days ago, the spotting subsided, but today a slight brown spotting appeared. Does it have to do with the upcoming withdrawal tailor during placebo pills?? I would like to add that 3/4 days before the placebo tablets I had already observed slight spotting.

To @Olaola: If the bleeding has stopped and only a slight spotting remains - there is no reason to worry.

It's been 10 days now. From strong tailoring, only very scanty spotting remained. Should I be worried that it's already taking so long?

For @Olaola: Bleeding or spotting may be a side effect of using the "after-tablet" application. Intense bleeding is not a symptom of implantation of the embryo in the uterus - that is, it is not implantation bleeding. If, after all, you are still concerned about something, please contact your gynecologist.

Today 23 I got a stronger spotting. Similar to the period. Should I be worried?
