Good morning, at the check-up visit to the gynecologist my endometrium was 6.4 mm. I have been using birth control pills for a year, I take them very scrupulously and regularly, I watch out for interactions. I read on the Internet that normally with endometrial tablets it is about 2-5 mm. Isn't my endometrium too "thick"? Does 6.4 mm mean that my tablets may not be effective?

In order for successful implantation and maintenance of pregnancy to occur, the thickness of the endometrium should be at least 7 mm - most often from 7.5 mm upwards. Therefore, in your case, the thickness of the endometrium of 6.4 mm does not indicate that the drug works badly and with properly used tablets the risk of pregnancy is negligible (it is about 1%). I would like to add that the ultrasound took place on the 16th day of the cycle
