Good morning. On Tuesday I peeled off the patch after bathing but I immediately glued it, on the same day and on Wednesday there was a rapprochement. On Saturday, the patch peeled off again after bathing but it was no longer possible to stick it so I glued a new patch No. 2, the day of changing the patch is Sunday. Was contraception preserved in the previous situation? Does the patch after peeling off have the same properties? On Friday, abdominal and low back pain began. Could fertilization have occurred?

Please indicate the names of the preparations used. If you have peeled off the contraceptive patch for less than one day (up to 24 hours): either re-apply the patch in the same place immediately or put on a new patch. There is no need for an additional method of contraception. The next patch should be applied as usual on the "Patch Change Day". The continuity of contraception in the first situation was preserved. If on Saturday you applied a new patch and on Sunday you did not stick another one according to the designated day of change, then in this case, in order to maintain the continuity of contraception, Saturday should be designated as a new day of change and in the week that began from Saturday to use additional contraceptive protection which is a condom.
