I am stressed by the investigation inside after even though I take pills therefore we use intermittent intercourse I know that it does not prevent too much before getting pregnant but I have a calmer head but I wonder if it gives anything at all?

Intermittent intercourse is an ineffective method of preventing pregnancy, due to the presence of preejaculate and high dependence on the reflexes of the partner, who must withdraw the penis reliably before ejaculation. Intermittent intercourse does not change the way the tablet protects against pregnancy. This method could "give something" in a situation where regular contraception would not work. If you use oral contraception correctly and systematically, the risk of ineffectiveness is negligible.
