Is it normal that at the first pack of Atywia Daily I have spotting?

I have been taking atyvia daily for a week and a half, every day I have such delicate spotting. Is this normal?

Yes, spotting is normal in this case. The first 3-4 months of using tablets are an adaptation period where the body adapts to the supply of hormones. During this period, spotting and mid-cycle bleeding may occur. If the medicine is taken correctly, you do not use other medicines that may weaken the effect of contraception, protection is maintained (even during bleeding and a placebo break - on white tablets). Such spotting and bleeding are also not an indication for discontinuation of therapy. The tablets can still be used. If the situation will be repeated after the 4th cycle of using the tablets, then it is worth consulting a gynecologist.
