Confusing a placebo tablet with an active tablet - what to do?

Yesterday (Sunday) I took the first placebo pill after taking 3 active weeks. However, today (Monday) I'm not sure if by accident I did not take an active pill, what in such a situation? Take a placebo normally all the time? Should you use additional security? I care primarily about the answer regarding whether I should use additional security or not.

Assuming that you actually took the active tablet instead of the placebo, the situation can be treated as an omission of 1 tablet (on the day you took the first placebo tablet). In such a situation, an additional, mechanical method of contraception, e.g. a condom, should be used for 7 consecutive days. We wrote more about how to use contraception correctly in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
