Should I stop taking Skudexa?

I am after lumbar spine surgery and the doctor prescribed me skudexe. For this antibiotic Zinnat and anticoagulant injections. In addition, I take Venlectine for anxiety neurosis. Now I read in the leaflet skudexy that it contains acetylsalicylic acid, to which I am probably allergic and actually observed a rash on the face and a sore change in the nose, and at night I had problems falling asleep, because I was bothered by fears. Should I stop taking the medicine?

The possibility of discontinuation of Skudexa depends on how long the drug is already taken. It is best to consult the attending physician today even by phone and inform him about what you have observed - he will decide on the further course of therapy: skudex https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/jak-telefoniczne-otrzymac-recepte-i-zwolnienie-lekarskie does not contain acetylsalicylic acid. The active ingredients of the drug are dexketoprofen and tramadol. Due to the fact that dexketoprofen belongs to the same group of drugs as acetylsalicylic acid, in people with hypersensitivity to this component, taking Skudexa is contraindicated. Always tell your doctor if you have allergies to medicines. Preparations with venlafaxine (Venlectine) and tramadol (Skudexa) also show a very important interaction. The simultaneous use of these drugs can cause an excessive increase in serotonin levels in the brain. This threatens the occurrence of serious disorders referred to as serotonin syndrome. Some of its symptoms are fever, sweating, increased heart rate, diarrhea, (uncontrollable) muscle spasms, chills, increased reflexes, anxiety, mood swings, loss of consciousness. Skudexa taken together with anticoagulant injections with heparin may also increase the risk of bleeding. Please note that side effects of medicines should be reported to your doctor or individually. By reporting side effects, you help other patients, including your loved ones, who may also need the same medicine one day. This step also allows you to gather more information on the safety of medicinal products and update data on them.
