Do abdominal pain and a feeling of tightness in the throat affect the contraceptive effectiveness of Vibin pills?
Good morning, I took 12 Vibin contraceptive pills yesterday. Unfortunately, my stomach hurt from nerves soon afterwards (neuralgia) and I felt a squeeze in my throat. Could this have affected the effectiveness of the tablet?

No, abdominal pain and a feeling of tightness in the throat alone do not affect the contraceptive effectiveness of Vibin pills. Protection could be reduced if vomiting or diarrhoea occurs within 3-4 hours of taking the tablet. In the case described by you, the protection has been maintained and there is no reason to worry.
