Can Zentel affect the contraceptive protection of the Nuvaring system?
If I take Zentel (400mg albendazole) 1 pill, does it affect Nuvaring's contraceptive protection? I am in 4 days of using the new disc, I have been using this contraception for 10 months.

Taking Zentel has no effect on the contraceptive protection of the Nuvaring system. The active substance of Zentel, albendazole, is practically not absorbed and acts only locally - in the intestinal lumen, so there is no possibility of disturbing the systemic effect of hormones.
