Is a pregnancy test performed contrary to the instructions reliable?
Hello, I did a stream pregnancy test but the stream of urine was not intense enough and lasted less than 5 seconds. The result came out negative, and a week ago I had withdrawal bleeding (I take 24+4 contraceptive pills and the bleeding was as usual on the 3rd day of withdrawal). Is this test reliable if I did not skip any tablet, but only used paracetamol in a dose of less than 3g per day and vitamin C in a dose of less than 1000 per day with a cold?

Jeśli stosuje Pani prawidłowo skuteczną metodę antykoncepcji, jaką są tabletki hormonalne, zażywała je Pani prawidłowo, nie wystąpiły biegunka czy wymioty, stosowane leki nie miały wpływu na stężenie hormonów i wystąpiło krwawienie z odstawienia, to nie ma powodów, aby przypuszczać, że jest Pani w ciąży. Przy właściwie stosowanej antykoncepcji hormonalnej ryzyko ciąży jest bardzo małe.
Trudno mi natomiast wypowiadać się na temat wiarygodności testu, jeśli wykonała go Pani niezgodnie z instrukcją.
