Dexak is not a direct replacement for Ketonal. Both medicines contain different active substances, but they have similar indications for use and mechanisms of action. Dexak 25 mg contains the active substance dexetoprofen, which is one of two optically active varieties of ketoprofen (the medicinal substance contained in Ketonal). Both drugs can be used to treat low to moderate pain.
